Bough Beech is a small village between Hever, Four Elms and Chiddingstone. The Wheatsheaf is very popular with locals and visitors, with log burning fires in the winter and a pretty pub garden in the summer. Bough Beech Reservoir attracts large numbers of visitors throughout the year, many armed with cameras and binoculars for bird-watching, and the visitor centre is popular with families for pond dipping and learning about nature. There is a sailing club, which operates from the Reservoir and white sails are often seen bobbing on the water.
