The main roads of the Eden Valley are the B2026 running from Crockham Hill through Edenbridge to Cowden, the B269/B2027 running from Crockham Hill to Leigh via Four Elms and Bough Beech, and the B2188 which connects Chiddingstone Causeway with Penshurst and routes south.
Drivers should note that many roads are narrow and single track in places.
General information on bus services can be found at Traveline.
The Eden Valley is served by two train routes: north to south by the London to East Grinstead and Uckfield line, with stations at Edenbridge Town, Hever and Cowden. West to east the valley is served by the Redhill to Tonbridge line, with stations at Edenbridge, Penshurst and Leigh. Both lines are operated by Southern Trains.
Walking is a great way to experience the Eden Valley countryside. An excellent network of footpaths allows anything from a short stroll to a full day’s walk, taking in many of the area’s best features along the way. The footpath network provides routes between all towns and villages of the area.
